Russell Conley is a multi-award winning screenwriter for his debut screenplay, Above The Horizon, which is based on a true story. He began his journey of putting pen to paper in 2014, after being inspired by his daughter Samarah Conley, an actress and singer / songwriter.
Being involved in all aspects of Samarah's career has led Russell to meet many talented actors, writers, producers, and directors upon which he has built a solid network of working relationships.
In order to tell his personal story beyond the screenplay, Russell decided to take several scenes and developed a short film version of Above The Horizon. The short film has already been accepted to several film festivals and has won a few awards.
