Cast & Crew
A historical documentary about the Hudson River village of Piermont as a railroad town. At its completion in 1851 the Erie Railroad was, for a time, the longest railroad in the world with Piermont as the terminus. The Northern Railroad, a commuter line to and from Jersey City, New Jersey followed a few years later. The film also recalls the herculean efforts of a handful of residents who recently renovated the wood-frame Northern Railroad train station, circa 1883, the only known surviving structure of its kind in America.
